Strength & Conditioning
Conditioning classes are an important part of BST because of the benefit it provides to not only recreational and competitive athletes, but also for the non-athletes. While enhancing physical and sports performance for the athletes, conditioning also increases energy, reduces body fat, and equips you with the strength and endurance needed to keep up with the physical demands of life, which becomes beneficial for all types of life styles.
Cardio Kickboxing offers benefits such as increased cardiovascular health, strengthened muscles, increased coordination, and burns up to 700 calories per class. Our cardio kickboxing class combines martial arts, boxing, and strength & conditioning into the class to achieve a challenging, full body workout. As you kick, punch, block and move in each class, you gain knowledge of important techniques while working out in a high intensity yet positive atmosphere.
In our Jiu Jitsu classes, you will learn submissions, sweeps, and passes that are a beneficial aspect for a fighter, grappler or simply for your own personal self-defense. It is a great way to stay in shape while honing in on life saving techniques and valuable competition skills. If you are beginning to train or have been doing it for some time, it is almost definite that from your hard work and perseverance, you will gain confidence, health, weight loss, and a sense of calmness and happiness in your life.
BST has some of the best boxing coaches to guide you through the fundamentals, all the way to advanced techniques that are needed to develop and improve your boxing talents. While this class is also great for high intensity training, it is equally beneficial to those looking to skillfully advance their boxing practices.
In this class, you will partner up and execute instructed kickboxing combinations that start off basic and advance into a bit more complicated. The round by round instruction allows this class to be a choice for anyone looking to learn kickboxing techniques or just get a great sweat on.
Our kids program is designed not only to teach your children the skills of Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing within our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) practice but we also offer a unique strength and conditioning (S&C) warm up to complement the MMA portion. The two combined create a safe program for your kids to grow as individuals while having fun in a positive atmosphere.
Catch As Catch Can Wrestling ‘CACC’ – A wrestling based form of submission fighting that focuses on good position, leverage, and top pressure. An aggressive grappling art where throws, takedowns, joint locks, chokes, neck cranks, leg locks, and slicers are utilized with ‘lock flow’ methodology.
Women's Only Classes
Women's Only - These are seasonal boot camps that offer the privacy of women only so they can get the same fitness benefits in a setting they prefer. Caters to all levels of fitness but also a great starting point for those women that are just starting their fitness journey and need the motivation from other women on the same journey.
This is an advanced class open to all fighters and members that want to compete one day. Utilizing live, situational, and hand to hand combat, you will find this intense MMA class to be an asset to your training.
